When you talk about having a child, purchasing a home, or making some other large purchase that you can financially afford, there is no good reason why your husband would not want to consider taking that step with you. Telling you that he wants to think about it and readdress the situation in a year, for example, is not a good sign.

If he is spending more and more time with a female other than you, you should be concerned about it. You just need to be honest with him. Your husband should love you and everything you do. No relationship is perfect, but a husband that is in love does not constantly point out faults about the woman he is sharing his life with.
